Jubilee Arts

Senior Clay

Description: Open to older adults of all levels, from inexperienced to accomplished ceramic artists. Students will explore the possibilities and limitations of traditional and non-traditional hand-building techniques of creating clay. Creations will be of student’s choice. Craftsmanship will be emphasized throughout the creative process.

Supplies: will be included onsite during class instruction.  

Format: 

This class will be an in-person class.  Masks are recommended but not required.  The max capacity for this class is 10 participants.

Cost of class! This class cost $10. 

Scholarships are available! We have scholarships available for every class. If you are unable to pay the class fee, please email: info@jubileeartsbaltimore.org and request a full or 50% off scholarship. We want everyone to enjoy a class at Jubilee Arts and we will work with you, please reach out.

Closure Policy: Jubilee Arts will be closed during all major holidays and Baltimore City Public School closures (Thanksgiving, Spring Break, etc.) with the exception of Summer Break.  In the event of inclement weather or other local emergencies, we follow Baltimore City Public Schools for closure procedures.  Make up classes will only be held at the discretion of the instructor.

End-of-Session Celebration: All participants will present their final projects at our celebration Friday, May 16th at 6:00 PM.
