Drumming
with Raymond Spence

Description: Students will learn an intro to percussion and music theory and will gain a knowledge of utilizing a drumset. Drumset will be available but we will explore an array of different percusision instruments.
Attire: comfortable clothing.
Format: This class will be an in-person class. All participants will be required to wear a mask and to show proof of vaccination or a negative rapid test taken the day of the class. To accommodate social distancing guidelines the max capacity for this class is 10 participants.

Draw Along I
with Nadia Nazar

Description: Each week learn how to draw something new in this step-by-step instruction time to teach elementary school-aged children how to quickly sketch.
Supplies: will be included onsite during class instruction.

Youth Clay

Description: Claywork is one of the most grounding forms of artistry. Learn the basics of hand-building in this 6-week class for youth.

Hip Hop
with Mr. Illestrate Latik McNeil

Description: Students will learn the basic levels of hip hop. Students will work with world renowned dancer and coreographer Latik McNeil, who has been featured on Netflix, afram, artscape and more to create a final performance featured at our End of Session Celebration.
Attire: Black leggings and black t shirt, Black sweat pants or gym pants and black t shirt and sneakers.

Contemporary Dance (ages 6-11)
with Moniq Bevans

Description: Students will learn the basic vocabulary and techniques of Ballet and contemporary dance through dance games and songs.
Attire: Pink leotard with brown or beige tights and shoes (see here for descriptions and shopping recommendations)
